Unit 4 had a visit from  the Walsall Mayor yesterday.

They had all designed a menu for the local 'Sukis restaurant.

Everyone did very well but the winner was Haytham . He was awarded a prize by the Mayor himself. Other entrants received easter eggs.

The new childrens menu is going to be used by Sukis. All the childrens work is displayed in the restaurant on Walsall Rd. Well done Unit 4.

year 5 have been looking at myths and  legends. In class we were  looking at Ancient Aborignals. They were treated very unfairly.

 At home I wrote a story about a myth, Sparta. The  banshed prince of sparta  ,he killed an important person then he was kicked out of the city and he went to Athens.

When I got to school the teacher read it out to everyone.

This week year 5 have been learning about shapes.I find this really hard sometimes teachers help me, sometimes friends, hopely at the end of the week I will get it.

We have been learning about  rivers and how they make their journey through the land.

We learned that its starts from rain that goes onto the mountains ,becomes streams,turns into rivers and then end up  in the seas.

The website has been out of action for a while......not sure what was going on , conspiracy theories etc  but Mr Steve Hooker arrived on his white charger and now everything is fine n dandy again ! Hurrah!

We have missed lots of news since New Year but rather than go back over old ground lets just start from this week......
