This weeks picture of the week is a photograph.

It was taken by a photgrapher called Robert Capa(if you want to learn more about him click on the news title)

He was well known for taking photographs in the heat of war but this shot I have chosen shows the artist Picasso.

Picture of the week! Edvard Munch *The Scream*
Edvard Munch, Norway's most popular artist, was a painter, lithographer, etcher, and wood engraver. He is looked upon as one of the most significant influences on the development of German and Central European expressionism. Munch's convulsed and tortuous art was formed by the misery and conflicts of his time, and, even more important, by his own unhappy life.

What are your opinions on this very famous painting?

Our First Picture of the week!

Ive started with a fave artist Francis Bacon. Like many he's painted a self- portrait (1967) Some of his paintings can be quite gory , what do you think of this image? Comments?
