Recorders, recorders, recorders!
If you hear squeaks and squawks coming from the UKS2 corridor, you're wrong: what they are really are the sounds of budding Mozarts learning the recorder.
The school has recently bought each child in Year 5 and Year 6 a recorder, and lessons have now begun. All the children and two of our learning support assistants are making fantastic progress, and can already play most of the notes. Now it's just a question of getting them there in the right order at the right time.

Our picture shows all five types of recorder. If you can name each one (correct spelling, please), bring your piece of paper to Mrs. Halliwell for a small prize.
